St. Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend

2019 vintage.

This was even better than the Rams were and not nearly as hard-hitting. Luscious and fleshy Merlot-driven, chocolate and maraschino cherry. Charred graphite frame, cool secondary notes of red flowers and Asian spice. Perfect place.

Concentrated and a bit muscular. Black as night. Only a few layers to this beauty, but each of them fantastic. Black raspberry and stony notes. Compelling reasonably priced St. E., good-to-go with a 30 min decant.

Really nice -soft and approachable great time to drink 🍷 not super familiar with the vintage -seemed to have some low level earthy , mushrooms and cherry fruit
