2005 Bordeaux, 60 merlot and 40 cab. This hits the mark for me today. Still youthful color of vibrant ruby. Classic nose of wet stone plummy fruit and a hint of leafy/herbal character. Decidedly dry. Should be a good foil to chicken confit.
