To be fair we popped it and started tasting. It needed at least 1-1.5 hours. After the hour it was opening up, with smokey, earthy, cedar, mushroomy, plummy, currant & a touch of olive scent. Balanced and NOT OVER OAK, like there supposed to be!!!!!!!!!
