2001. Wow! I keep forgetting how much I love Sauternes. Drank by itself. No dessert needed. Every 2001 I've had has been amazing. Dark orange in color but sweetness did not overpower. Still plenty of acid and perfect finish.

Had two bottles of the 2001. One was uncharacteristically chunky and un ripe. The second was wonderful. Certainly bolder than most but wonderful fruit and structure. Felt like you were drinking desert!
