Opulent, dark, viscous. Glycerin out the wazoo. No heat despite the high alcohol content. The climate and terroir on full display. Would benefit from 1-2 more years in the bottle, but doesn't have the tannin structure for longer-term aging.

Jun 4th, 2017A powerhouse Languedoc red. Black fruit, olive tapenade, wet dirt. Not for the squeamish at 15% ABV but well balanced. This is a big, powerful wine. Pairs well with a grilled ribeye. Probably the best Languedoc that I have had. Plus, great label.
