Had to take a pic of the back label because the front is, um, non-optimally informative. Anyhoo, this is a terrific Zin. Nose has classic spicy blackberry fruit, together with a prominent sandstoney, gravelly note. A bit of smoky balsa wood too. In the mouth it’s nicely balanced, with deep fruit, not jammy at all, and a very “claret-like” sense of structure and restraint. Alcohol 14.7%, which is commendable for Zin. I like this a lot.
