Brownish red, opaque and a little cloudy. Nice old wine nose with notes of dried currant. molasses, barnyard floor, gravel, Nice richness in the mouth. Short finish. But with air the finish got better.

1970 vintage, not sure how well it was cellared. Cork was dried out, filtered the wine. Very heavy tannins. very dark and smokey.
