Still tight & a bit hot. 375ml bottle

Nose does not give away much, understated. A thick wine, cherries, concentration, lavender and laurel, very nice and a point now. Grainy structure. Freshness, power, delicious.

"Very pleasant 03. Some people have described it as tight when opened, but I got a great nose of blackberry and baking spices right away. I don't feel that it improved much after breathing. Nice flavor of dark berries, plum, spice. I was not able to pick out the leather or tobacco. Lovely mouthfeel. Quite smooth with a hint of tannin still surviving. I don't think this will get a lot better, but I also don't think there is a hurry to drink up."

Juicy plum, serious but lyrical. Wish I had some steak frites right now. A heaping plate of porky lentils for good luck will do! Happy NYE 2014!

Maybe a little past it's prime. Way too smooth, but still had some earthiness.

A plain Jane, not much too see here. A muddled wine, which leaves you looking for acid and texture, as both are in short supply! A Cru Bourgreois from a very hot year, flabby dark plums, and overripe cherries. Skip this one! #purchase 😣

Had his a few times. Still youthful but not hot. Almost chocolatey tasting. Very smooth and very fine. For me better than the brunello.
