The advice I received in choosing Bordeaux under $20 was to select vintage before supplier. Specifically 2012 over 2011 or 2013. Turned out to be good advice.

Full bodied with nice cherry mineral bouquet. 2019 vintage. Mineral and cigar and smoke. Terroir but smooth and full in mouth and really perfect fir my steak dinner 2021 before tgiving.
