Bold and expressive, dark purple with a ruby rim and a nose full of granite, tar and black fruit. On the palate the wine opens with more crushed rock, earth, blueberry pie and white peppercorns. The tannins are long and silky with a medium plus finish and a subtle smokiness.

Didn't read properly, thought I got another Bordeaux but it's actually 100% merlot. Funny thing is I wouldn't have bought that had I known but this one was really good for $10
