Château Petit-Figeac
Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend
St. Émilion, Libournais, Bordeaux, France
The 2012 Petit-Figeac is everything its name says it is. Wonderfully perfumed and expressive. The 2012 is supple, precise and beautifully delineated from start to finish. Silky tannins and a mid-weight sense of structure give the 2012 its classic feel. Scents of lavender, mint and white flower add an attractive aromatic top register. The Petit-Figeac is one of the hidden gems. Drink it over the next 10-15 years. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous)

Nothing Petit here. Powerful, dark fruited Bordeaux. Mocha dusted plums & cedar/oaky aromatics. Has some grip, but is completely approachable. Very good.

Nice Merlot from Saint Emilion. A little youthful but amazing ripe fruit, French oak, and smooth finish. I would hold for a while. I was curious to see how it was developing.
