Lots of wet soil and leather. Plum, blackberry, black cherry and a hint of tobacco leaves. Too lean on the palate and tannins are aggressive.

This second wine is delightful but would benefit from more cellar age. A bit floral on the nose, the palette of dark fruit and fine tannins make for an interesting adventure for the consumer.

Heavy barnyard, very tannic. Probably too young. The table is not too impressed. I think it hasn’t opened yet. Cedar, dark cherry, cherry or plum pit bitterness. Ch Pavie dinner at Morton’s iapm.
