Decanted this forever and it quite surprised me. While it was rich and dense, it was not over the top like I feared. Maybe not classic Bordeaux in style but certainly enjoyable on Bastille day.

Pronounced taste of iodine but good body

Perfect bottle for dinner at chef & farmer in Kinston nc. Velvety, a bit of spice, smoke and just silky tannins. Great wine
