Definitely pushing the limits of what you can get for a $10 French red. The bottle I got was a little overfilled and funky. I have a second one and may revise my rating if it’s different.

So delicious! I’m not a big wine drinker so this was a hit with my other not so big wine drinkers

85% merlot; 10% Cabernet Sauvignon; 5% cabernet franc

Tight then opens to soft cocoa and spice

A decent a mount of complexity throughout when its uncorked all the way to it being fully opened up. Also very tannic and grippy as if it was corrected. For 8.99 a great table wine.

Garnet in color, tobacco and leather on nose, medium plus acid, disappointing body. A little too harsh for my liking.

Earthy, inexpensive

Good right bank table/bistro wine
