Clearing out the wine cellar. This '99 displays brisk tannin offset by softly welcoming ruby fruit. A most enjoyable sipper & terrific alongside white beans w shallots, chives, broccoli, olive oil, etc.

This wine doesn't suck. Lots of spice and plum on the nose. The palate is similar with mushrooms, anise, and plums.
