Rich and unexpectedly dry white based on Furmint grapes in NE Hungary. Being a powerful dry white with a big palate it kind of remind me to some big chenin Blancs from Loire Valley (little less complex but still well structured) a great value for USD 12

Nice wine for under $10. The grape variety is furmint and this wine has Sauvignon blanc characteristics. On the palate I like the fruit that comes out in the middle followed by nice acidity. I got it at Austin wine merchant.
