Saint-Estèphe Red Bordeaux Blend

Quite earthy and relatively lighter than the kind of robust Bordeaux I prefer. I taste olive brine and cranberry --Accentuated salt and tart.

Final wine of my time working at Amsterdam Wine Co. One of my favorite Bordeaux producers. Liquid fanfare.

A medium plus body to this with lots of earth, currant and red fruits. Nice balance with just enough acidity. Tannins are firm but not unrelenting.

Épices (poivre) et bois au nez, tanins un peu trop rudes en bouche. Un bon vin qui manque un peu de finesse.

Vegetal with black fruits. Blackberry, black currant, vanilla, cedar, chocolate. Med+ body, high tannin, long finish. Drink very well now and will improve.

Light, tastes of berry, chocolate and leather. Finishes with medium tannins. Great with smoked cheeses or meats.

Superb!! Quite earthy. Medium bodied.
