Sauternes done the right way. Honeysuckle, candied apple, roasted almonds and petrol on the nose. Caramel, peach jam, vanilla and just a touch of citrusy acidity to keep it singing on the palate.

This was very good. At this stage, much of the young sweetness has faded. Some apricot and nutty flavors. Sad to see the last of these go but it was at a very good stage.

Apricot, honey & golden raisin, with liqueur-like, candied notes. Sweet, but concentrated & powerful. NICE!!!

This is textbook Sauternes, though primary. Saffron and savory gasoline on the nose, with bright acidity to balance the sweetness on the palate. I can’t speak as to the potential for development.
