2018 vintage. Rhône varieties Viognier and Roussanne combined with Petit Manseng, hence the Gard IGP classification, since the latter is not authorised in the Costières de Nîmes AOC. Deep golden yellow. Exotic dried fruit (mango, pineapple) and flowers in the nose. More power than finesse, dominated by Viognier bitter structure. Even with Petit Manseng acidity it feels a bit heavy. Nice salty hint in the finish though. The entry level white Galets Dorés from this estate gives so much more pleasure.
