Recommended by a wine merchant, we told him we loved Argentinian Malbec but wanted to drink french wine and he recommended this, it’s smoother than anything else we’ve tried in the region so far - were still learning!

Young, local wine (staying in Monpazier) made east of Bergerac, an excellent recommendation from hotel owner Edward 1er, medium bodied, slight tannins, needs a little room temp, but truly excellent suprise and goes into top 20....
