Honey, apricot, dry herbs. The palate is complex with a strong acid backbone and wax. Nice evolution but must have been a bit wider a couple of years back. Nice botrytis touch though.

Nice golden colour but with an almost undetectable orange peel bouquet. Pleasant honey and candied orange taste with a hint of marzipan. Fairly mouth filling.

Not a touch on the Ch Casteleau had a couple of days ago, but showing again how the sweeties are the (only) stars of this region. Could drink alone, but benefitted from some blue cheese or pudding.
