Had 2009 from Schneider’s $50 on 9/13/20. Violet color nice blast of scent right out of the bottle. Needn’t have decanted. Very pretty red into glass. Marked cassis smell. Lacks some liveliness— a little flat — maybe short on acid and tannin?? Lasting finish. Etched on the upper middle teeth. Smell and taste of prunes by second pour.
