A great value for this Merlot based Bergerac, crunchy tannins and just ripe black fruits

Primarily Merlot with just a bit of Cabernet Franc. Deep purple color. Full of red berry fruit that evolves to more black berry/cassis aromas and flavors with hints of baking spices, chocolate and a very nice earthy quality. Medium plus body with nicely integrated tannins. Really well balanced. Finish is a bit short. Excellent quality for the price.
