Mar 25th, 2018Drinking really nicely tonight. Nicely balanced, mellow tannins and a nice acidity that played well with homemade spaghetti. Years and years to go.

2003 Chateau Meyney, St. Estephe. Magnum of this with a veal stew. Very aggressive mid-palate - almost unpleasant. Blackberry, licorice, leather. Going to give it a lot of time before opening another one.
