A solid budget Bordeaux. Some typical Bordeaux character, good fruit/savory balance, and not bitter at all with a smooth finish. (Guessing it's Merlot dominated) Simple and under-extracted, but you'd be hard pressed to find better for the price in this region.

2014 vintage on 10/01/16 via Miguel with Mussels in curry sauce over Spaghetti. No bite or hardness, just refreshing complement to the curry.
