Château Martin
Saint Estephe Red Bordeaux Blend
St. Estèphe, Médoc, Bordeaux, France

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Stinky nose that reminds me of Northern Rhone.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with mild complexity.
Showing red and black fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, earth, dark chocolates, vegetables, bitter herbs and black pepper.
Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.
This 5 year old Cabernet Sauvignon based blend is still young, and needs a few years in the bottle to mature properly.
A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 8% Petit Verdot and 2% Cabernet Franc. Aged in (30% new) French Oak barrels for 12 months.
13% alcohol by volume.
88 points.
