On the more tired side but it put on weight and fruit after about 30 mins of air. If I had another I’d drink it in the near term and would do just a quick decant to get it off it’s sediment which is significant

1971 - Was really good bottle, compared to the rest of the case (tired and showing their age). Perfectly mature. Still great core of Black Cherry fruit. Lots of leather, leaf tobacco, and other savory flavors.

Way past prime. Some bitter elements on the palate and finish. Nice nose however.

After a hard of work. Some VINO & a pack of french fries from the 'frituur'.

Woodsy with brighter fruit like strawberry. Some tannins. Opened up a lot in the glass.
