Château Malescot St. Exupéry
Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend

Sure, not the best vintage, but really lovely claret paired with rack of lamb. Drinking really nicely, and much better than those charts say it should be for a 2007.

Red Bordeaux. I generally don’t reach for bold reds although this one was at end of its cellar life, so dusted it off for steak dinner. Decanted for an hour. More mild than I expected. Silky tannins. Familiar cab flavors (leather, dark/red fruits, oaky). Super dark red color. 13%
