Surprise of the night. Garnet color. Very complex nose of red and dark fruit, leather, and herbs. Full body with all the elements working in balance all the way through the long finish. Good stuff.

Coffee grounds, chocolate and prunes. Intensely concentrated and oaky nose, but delightfully balanced on the palate.

Closed to start but showing through after about an hour. Tannins are present, but very soft, not a lot of fruit showing. More pencil led and barnyard than anything followed by mint chocolate chip and a hint of violet
