Color a is murky red brown. Nose—a sweet red cherry plum and forest floor barn yard funk with green veggie. A slight menthol lingering. Taste— Sweet strawberry tea flavors hit the pallet. A slight smoky and tobacco medium finish with touches of currant, tea and spices hanging around making the wine soft and pleasant and wanting more. Tannins have sweeten but definitely still there!

Jumping into the wayback machine on Friday. Double decant and pour (decent sediment). An engaging murky medium ruby red with some decent bricking. On the nose: red cherry/plum, forest floor, green veggie with a little barn yard funk (which I luv) jumps from the glass. Taste: strawberry, smoke, little spicy tobacco. Tannins have sweetened but let you know they are still there. A soft wine with a currant/tea medium plus finish. YUM...luv old Bordeaux!

Double decant (lots of fine sediment). Taking the time machine back to 1990! Still a glorious dark red with some slight bricking on the edge. On the nose: red fruit, earthy, plum, and slight barn yard funk (which I luv). Taste: red fruit, plum, smokey, floral, currants, sweet still there tannins...low acidity and medium finish....took a chance buying a few bottles and drinking really well! Glad I did.

Brown purplish color. Barnyard, plum strawberry fruit nose with some floral and leathery notes. Full fruit sweet plum and strawberry taste that pops in the mouth with a bitter coffee and tobacco finish. Sitting out in our backyard on the green with perfect spring early evening weather. What a joy!

Happy Easter Sunday...from my cellar jumped into the way back machine to a top (1990)Bordeaux vintage, though not a top scorer wine. Decant for sediment (decent amount). Still dark, and a bewitching brownish/purple color. On the nose: floral, red fruit, leather with a little barn yard funk blowing out of the bowl. Taste: sweet plum and strawberry, violets, currents with coffee at the end...lush tannins with medium acidity....yum....
