I think I like this wine more than most. That written, it deserves some decanting, as that's, in this wine, where the magic lies. So, there 's a good amount of spice on the nose and first touch of one's lips and beyond complimented by a hint of licorice overwhelmed by raspberries and blueberries. It teases you with the anticipation of s long finish, but falls short of the finish line. While that is a limiting factor in the world of Bordeaux , it's working for me as I munch on veggies and tuna slices right off the boat at my beloved SoundSide Restaurant , in Morehead City, NC. (Yes, I could do this with beef tartare , but I live at the beach😎). Plus, you know that a town with such a name is righteous in so many ways..😎 cheers! PS deserves more conversation on how it seems to have pulled more from the rocks than the soil....

A bold dry red wine that got better as you drank it... A little sweet with berries, but very delicious!

Wouldn't buy again but it's not bad. Not smooth all the way through.

A little bold for out of the bottle for "table", best - needs aired, pair w/beef, cheddar, food.

Merlot/Cab/Malbec blend. Sturdy blend with firm tannins, a dry finish and notes of pencil lead, blackberry, and sweet cassis. Needs an hour to really open up. $10
