The nose is a delight of cassis, blueberry & blackberry as well. For being a 2010 I was worried how this would behave- but there’s no worry here. 2010 was a legendary vintage all throughout Bordeaux- and this inexpensive little number is proof of the point. It’s in its prime, and costs a dime for every dollar one would consider spending on more recognizable labels. Yea. I’ve given the matter a lot of thought, and the 2010 Château Magdeleine Bouhou is my 2020, Poor Man’s Cheeseburger Wine of The Year.

Jun 3rd, 2020Drinking the 2011 on March 2020, a nice aromatique of black fruits and the first note of evolution appears for a good complexity. The structure is silky with clean tannins. It’s balance. Good to drink now and in the next 5 years.
