1 person found it helpfulOct 11th, 2017Medium cherry with ruby tinges. Leathery, fresh cedar, vanilla, hints of plum and sour cherry on the nose. Medium bodied with med acid, slightly astringent tannins. Aromas carry through on the palate nicely. Drinkable now but structured for some more age.

Note : No disappointment with this Château Macquin, always a pleasure to taste this Bordeaux. A black cherry robe, a complex nose of tobacco, spices and compote of forest fruits. On the palate, roundness and soft, aromatic tannins.
