Château Lynch-Bages

This is a sentimental wine for my wife and I. It's the first Bordeaux wine that we had together, then years later was a Chateau we visited on our honeymoon. I thought I was about time, so here is the same vintage we first had (yes it and I are young).
2011 is showing real beauty right now. It's nowhere near its plateau yet which I'd good, but the tannins were beautiful and velvety, with all the good spicy darkness that is Lynch Bages. Gravel dust, stewed black plum, cedarwood, anise, and a bit of violet on the nose. The fruit is vibrant and abundant, and it still has its lingering grip to the finish - truly an echo of Lynch. I, as well as many other bordeaux residents, prefer off vintages of Bordeaux bc they show more earlier and are perfect to actually serve at dinner. I just need a few cases of this to sit on. Yep.

Certainly one of my top 3 vineyards globally this deusieme vin is superb:
Color, mature tannins already a little lighter body- as expected God bless Bordeaux!
