Candied cherry, slight plum and spice on the nose. Very dark purple that seems matched a Zinfandel. Slight cough medicine flavor on the back end.

Deep black cherry, cocoa, touch of smoke. Medium tannins, long smooth finish.

Nose: Ripe cherry, smoke, sweet chemical. Taste: cherry, wood, some cocoa, robust flavors, cleansing tannins, but more acidic. Well made wine, just not my favorite style.

Smooth. Berry and wood. Hearty.

Clove taste

Grand Cru supposed to be above average wine...
I am still why this one is labelled grand cru
