Cheap Bordeaux - good structure but dominated by tannins - will leave the rest for a few years minimum

Great example of how good Village Bordeaux can be in off vintages. I want more of this

Slightly aged but still showing verve and tenacity. Keeps showing off its nose by changing every 15 minutes and surprising us. First by showing off its funky barnyard notes, then subsiding and showing off its red and black fruit, before finally settling on its vegetal qualities.

The palate is equally impressive. It's a well made Bordeaux, one that drinks higher than its priced.

A great combo of riper cassis and currant-y fruit and roasted chestnut and mocha. Rich palate that shows some underbrush and tobacco leaf along with velvety tannin. A real surprise.

Scent of raspberry sweet tart and fig. Robust tannin profile with smooth astringency. Absolutely love this moody Medoc!
