A dark hued wine that is very typical of Right Bank Bordeaux. (Merlot/Cab Franc Blend). Low key nose of ripe fruit with a hint of smoke. Dark cherry, coffee and toasted oak flavors. Silky finish and mild tannins, which are typical of the Reds from Pomerol. I get the sense that some bottle age has rounded this wine in to form.
