Some darker, burlier fruit on the nose—baked black fruit, light tar, molasses, wood, spiced red fruit—red plum tart—cinnamon. / chewy and viscous with a range of black fruit on the palate (baked, dried, desiccated, some stewed, a small amount ripe) / firm tannins / not much length, but enjoyable for what it is

A drinkable Red Bordeaux from Saint Estephe. Unbalanced now, with red fruits and earth notes.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly. A good one to cellar and revisit.

A blend of 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot.

13% alcohol by volume.

83 points.

$34.

Very dusty smelling and tasting. Rotten apples. Didn’t like this one too much.

Currants and some plum and black cherry, nice dark purple don’t red, great dryness, nice tannins, rustic liquorice but the muskyness isn’t too rich or deep falls with acid
