Decent wine that would probably be much better if it wasn’t sitting in the sun all day and drunk out of a Walmart cup while sitting alone to a dinner of plain corn nuts and beef jerky.

Hurrah for this Bordeaux! Well structured, demonstrating a good length from first sip to last. Nice price to boot!

I think this is why I collect wine. I bought this wine 14 years ago for 12.99 (at premier cru... ugh) thinking it is something to open with Chinese food on a Tuesday night. Stored perfectly, It got buried in the back of my cellar and I recently found it. Wow. I had it with Chinese food on a Tuesday night and it blew me away relative to my expectations. Parker called it a sleeper of the vintage and he was spot on. Almost Rhône like with its peppery palate while sticking to its Bordeaux heritage. So well done for an every day drinker

Marzipan and cherry on the nose. Medium bodied, soft and well integrated tannin. Nice hint of spice on the finish. Oaky tones and black fruit. An enjoyable Bordeaux.
