2018 Bordeaux Les Garelles. Owner Thomas Novoa took over this 44 hectares estate from his father and went organic. This is a blend of mainly Merlot (70%), Malbec (15%), Carmenère (10%) and Cabernet Franc (5%). This is what the French call "gouleyant", an easy-drinking fresh fruity wine. Don't expect complexity, but delicious bright red cherry fruit with some spiciness and soft tannin. Another delicious wine with the "vignobles Gabriel & co" quality label. Great value at less than 8 euros.
