A little musty, but enough tannins to break through the must. At 10 years with imperfect cellaring, for the price, pretty dang good. Not a soloist any more. Needs a food accompaniment.

Quality wine. A nice merlot dominant Bordeaux. For me there's not much going on here until you drink with food. With a steak, this wine gets to show off its delicate nature. Never too powerful. But elegant all the way through. Finishing at a medium length, this wine is very good. It was not my style of Bordeaux, but I can appreciate the quality from this producer.
