Another wine that seems to be hard to find in the app. 2015 vintage Château Le Lau in the Graves de Vayres appellation, which is probably the most confidential wine region in the whole of Bordeaux. Not easy to find much information on this estate (the website mentioned on the back label doesn't seem to exist, so I recommend to check out their Facebook page). This small estate is owned by a woman, Sylvie Plomby. This is a medium-bodied gentle, elegant and harmonious wine (100% Merlot) that is absolutely worth seeking out at the ridiculous price of 7,50(!) euro. Also, this estate is being converted into organic farming and apparently moving to biodynamics. As I am planning to move to Bordeaux very soon, this is definitely an estate I want to check out. Abv. 13,5 %.
