Dry, a little smoky at the start but fills out with plum and spice after a few minutes. Very smooth. Easy drinking after dinner.

Nicely french. Subtle complexities. Good nose. Fruity and floral with light jam. Ate with wild mushroom bruscetta and Lapin Ivre "drunken rabbit". Lovely bottle.
