Pomerol Red Bordeaux Blend

Drinking very well now. Extremely elegant. Fruit is on its way out. Drink it if you got it!

Absolutely stunning Pomerol, fresh, lively acidity, still relatively youthful, red fruits, super long, lingering finish, all in a 12.5% ABV package, really amazing juice!!

Water-damaged label, pristine cork, fantastic sweet fruit in this lovely Pomerol, super balance, seems mature, long finish, so good and refreshing, great acid.

Still showing a fair amount of toasty new oak (as well as somewhat gritty wood tannins), fruit is mature, just a tad of a green undertone to the remaining fruit, time to drink, though should show better with the grilled flatiron steaks!!

Very fine older Pomerol in a group of great old Bordeaux, could stand some more cellaring.

Dinner with Dmitri Talapin at my place. Strawberry juice, blood, herbs, and cedar/bacon.

Delightful nose but much of the fruit was gone. Definitely past its prime but tasty nonetheless.
