Light in nose, dark fruits last bottle of 375ml 2000, Decanted 2hrs before drinking. More robust, moderate tannins, classic Pauillac !
Maybe a little past it’s prime

LaTour 3rd growth still great , dark fruits with less tannic than 2 years ago, probably peaked in last year or 2

This was 2000 vintage consumed in Jan., 2019. OMG! Perfectly cellared and probably the best bottle (magnum) of Bordeaux I’ve had in 15 years. My thanks to the somm at Alain duCasse for the introduction, and to Steve Rayman, formerly of B-21, for making it available at retail. And, of course, to my friends at Stacole! Yummm...!
