Nose is medium (+) intensity with primary aromas of blackcurrant, black cherry, blackberry and a primary note of eucalyptus and secondary notes of vanilla, cedar, and cloves and tertiary notes of game and leather. Dry, high acidity, high tans, medium alcohol, medium plus body, Medium plus flavour intensity. Primary flavours of blackcurrant, blackberry, black cherry, eucalyptus, dried cooked fruit and secondary notes of vanilla, oak, chocolate and tertiary notes of leather, and prune. Long finish; very good quality, drink now but can still age for a little bit longer if desired.

Just tried the 1998 (I am clearing my cellar). Still drinkable with a taste of dark berries and cherry. However, this vintage had its peak quite some time ago.

Very good, great choice when want something a little less bold than Cab. With Thomas at the Mansion bar, $15/glass. Would buy again.
