A pleasant Bordeaux, well made, fruity and dry. Aromas of cassis, cedar wood and raspberry, With a hint of coffee, medium body with dry tannins and good acidity, pleasant finish. Another example that 2009 was a great vintage, my score 86, drink to 2022

Tar, vanilla, black currant, cassis, nice typical red bank nose. The palate is also marked by the aging in oak but the acid drive and the cassis notes are rather nice. Good tannins spicing up in the rear. Short but intense cassis, currant and vanilla finish. Easy going but doing the trick.

A little too subtle, almost to the point of being bland. Not a stand out at the price point.

Well rounded tannins - bit of...Mushroom, vanilla, leather.... easy drinking with or without a filet mignon

The 2012 (opened in 2017) is pretty great, and does an interesting reversal of the norm by having rich black fruit up front and bright, zippy red fruit on the finish, with some mild and pleasant herbal notes too.
