Deep garnet hue with medium-high saturation. Aromas and flavors of cassis, licorice, plum, stone, tar, and violet. Full body; full, firm tannins; and medium-high acidity. Robust on the nose and the palate, with a long-lasting finish. A few more years would bring more balance and elegance, but the wine is nonetheless drinkable now as a good expression of Graves. Second label of Grand Enclos du Château de Cérons, selected from younger vines. 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Merlot.

Closed at first, but fruit is hiding behind strong tannins. Opens up nicely, with soft tannins. Pleasant.
