For many years I stayed away from Bordeaux for all kinds of reasons, all of which had to do with philosophy and morals, not the wine itself. This bottle a nice reminder of what is good about Bordeaux: mid priced (under 16$), nicely balanced between some tertiary elements & fruit, & low/mod alcohol. Just a very solid & enjoyable mid week wine.
