Drank 2/10/20.
Bought this bottle, to cook with, for around $8. It is a Bordeaux, so why not try a glass?
Nose is typical Bordeaux, with black fruit, soil, and a hint of wet gravel. Very nice, but a touch soft. Flavors of blackberry, black cherry and earth are very nice, but lack the concentration and depth of the vintage. Pleasant finish is dominated by simple black fruit, and medium tannins. Pleasant, but a bit lacking. I dont see this improving. Drink now.
3/20/7/3/3 + 50 = 86 pts.

Feb 11th, 2020Beautiful finish, not too sweet, but has hints of berry jam. Hints of earth, but very subtle. We bought this at Aldi, will definitely buy again
